Terms of Service
Last Updated: November 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and SarvPariksha, an independent student project run by Abhay Mourya in India. By using the service you agree to them, to the Privacy Policy and to the Cookies Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What SarvPariksha is
SarvPariksha is a free practice platform for competitive-exam mock tests, with AI study tools, Game Mode and teacher-created exams. You get a personal, limited, revocable right to use it for your own study and teaching.
It is a practice tool, not an official exam, a substitute for coaching or a promise of any score, rank, admission or job. Check important information against official sources. If you use SarvPariksha for a school, coaching centre or other organisation, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it.
2. Accounts and age
- Public pages (home, pricing, certificate verifier, About and legal pages) need no account. Everything else needs a free account (email or Google). The exception is a teacher's shared exam: you can take it by link or access code without an account, and your name and answers are recorded for the teacher.
- You must be at least 13. When you sign up, you confirm that you are 18 or older, or that your parent or legal guardian has agreed to these terms and the Privacy Policy on your behalf. If you are under 18, your guardian is responsible for your use of the service. A false confirmation breaches these terms.
- Give accurate details, keep your login private, and tell us at once if you suspect someone else used your account. You are responsible for activity on it. One account per person: do not share or sell accounts, or use several to get around limits.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete My Account & All Data.
3. Plans, codes and limits
- There are three plans: a free account, the Student plan (unlocked with an institution code from your school) and a free Teacher account. Teacher accounts need approval, and we may pause new teacher signups.
- Daily limits on AI hints, notebooks, predictions and teacher exams are shown on the Pricing page and may change. We will try to give notice of material changes. Automated, abusive or disproportionate use may be throttled or suspended.
- We take no payments and collect no card, UPI or bank details. Institution codes are personal, non-transferable, may expire or be revoked, and have no cash value. If we ever charge money, we will publish prices and refund terms before charging anyone.
4. Exams and certificates
- Exam content may come from past papers, teacher submissions, AI generation or our own compilation. We do not promise that a paper matches the pattern, difficulty or syllabus of a real exam, or that questions and answer keys are free of errors.
- Certificates are issued only for teacher-created exams where the organiser turned certificates on. AI papers, library papers and game runs are not eligible. You need at least 40% on the attempt unless the teacher sets another pass mark. A free account or Teacher account gets one certificate; the Student plan gets unlimited certificates, subject to fair use.
- A certificate records a mock attempt on SarvPariksha. It is not a government, board, university or employer qualification.
- Anyone with a certificate's serial ID can see the holder's name, exam, score, level and issue date. Do not share the ID if you do not want that. If you delete your account, your certificates stop being verifiable.
- Use your own name and take your own exam. Cheating, impersonation, tampering with the app, scraping answer keys, using several accounts to beat limits and exploiting bugs are prohibited. During an exam we may count tab switches or focus changes to show a warning and to review suspicious certificate claims.
- We may revoke a certificate, cancel a result or suspend an account if we reasonably believe an attempt was not genuine. We may ask you to explain first.
5. Teachers and institutions
- You are solely responsible for exams you publish: questions, options, answer keys, images, marking schemes and difficulty labels. Make sure they are accurate, lawful and suitable for your students.
- Do not publish copyrighted question banks, past papers or images without permission, or anyone's personal data.
- For student results collected through your exams (such as name, email or roll number if you ask for them, answers, score and time), you decide what is collected and why. SarvPariksha processes that data on your behalf only to run the service. Collect only what you need, tell students, obtain any consent the law requires (including a parent's or guardian's consent for students under 18), and delete data you no longer need.
- You control whether an exam is public or code-protected. Share codes only with intended students. Public exams and your display name as uploader may be visible to everyone.
- Do not use SarvPariksha for high-stakes official examinations or to present results as official credentials.
- We may remove content, restrict sharing or suspend an account on a credible complaint, or if we believe these terms or the law have been broken.
6. AI features
- AI features (hints, chat, explanations, predictions, notebooks and AI papers) are study aids. They can be wrong, incomplete, biased or out of date, and can be unavailable. Check them against your textbook, teacher or an official source. Do not rely on them for health, financial or legal decisions or for official exam eligibility.
- Do not send passwords, ID numbers, financial or health details, or anyone else's private data. Your prompts and any image you attach are processed by our AI provider, Groq, as the Privacy Policy describes.
- Paper predictions and AI exams are not leaked papers or official forecasts.
- You are responsible for what you do with AI output, including content you add to notes or exams. Do not use AI features to break the law, to mislead (including deceptive media about real people) or to make official-looking documents.
7. Acceptable use
You may not, by hand or with a bot, script or extension:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-extract question banks, answer keys or other users' data;
- bypass or try to bypass access codes, logins, limits or security controls;
- upload malware, or content that is illegal, obscene, hateful, harassing, defamatory or infringing;
- harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, take or share an exam for someone else, or share answer keys during a live exam;
- use the service for commercial coaching, resale or a competing product without our written permission;
- claim an affiliation with SarvPariksha, NTA, UPSC, SSC, a board, a university or any other exam authority;
- overload the service or try to reach another person's account.
We may investigate, remove content, suspend accounts and report unlawful activity to the authorities.
8. Intellectual property and copyright complaints
- The SarvPariksha name, logo, mascot, design, text, question compilations and AI prompts belong to us or our licensors. The source code is published at github.com/Abhay557/sarvpariksha and may be used only as that repository's licence file allows; if it has none, all rights are reserved. No code licence covers our name, logo, mascot or user data.
- Questions, papers and images may belong to their original owners (teachers, publishers or public sources) and are shown for practice and study. Exam names and logos belong to their owners. SarvPariksha is an independent student project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NTA, UPSC, SSC, any board, IIT, NIT, university or other exam authority.
- You may download and print your own results, notes and certificates for personal use. Other copying, selling or commercial use of our content needs our written permission.
- Copyright complaints: if you believe content on SarvPariksha infringes your rights, email contact@sarvpariksha.in with the URL, a description of the work and your contact details. We acknowledge within 24 hours and remove content we find infringing.
- If you send us feedback, you let us use it to improve the service without payment.
9. Your content
You own what you create, such as your answers, notes, chats, teacher exams and uploaded images. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and process that content to provide and secure SarvPariksha, and we may sublicense it to the providers that help us run the service. This includes showing your teacher exams to the students you share them with, showing exams you publish to everyone, and showing certificate details through the public verifier. We do not use your chats or prompts to train our own AI models. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared and backups that are being rotated.
You promise that you have the rights to what you upload and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law. Copies made by others (shared links, screenshots, search caches) are outside our control. We are not a backup service, so keep your own copies of important notes.
10. Availability and third-party services
SarvPariksha is provided as available. We do not guarantee uptime or that every feature will always work, and we may add, change, limit or stop features or pause access for maintenance. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes in the app or by email, but we are not liable for loss caused by a change except where the law says otherwise.
We rely on third-party providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and we link to or embed services such as YouTube, GitHub, Reddit and WhatsApp. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Termination
You can stop using SarvPariksha and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access immediately if we reasonably believe you broke these terms, committed fraud or abuse, created a security risk, or if the law requires it. Where practical we will give notice and a chance to explain. Your data is then handled as the Privacy Policy describes, and your certificates may become unverifiable. Parts of these terms that should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law) continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers and liability
- To the extent the law allows, SarvPariksha is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted, error-free operation. We do not guarantee any marks, rank, percentile, admission, selection or job. AI output may be wrong, teacher content is the teacher's responsibility, and user content is the user's.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity. Our total liability for direct damages is capped at the greater of INR 1,000 or the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Because the service is currently free, this means INR 1,000.
- None of this limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything the law does not allow us to limit. Nothing here removes your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other mandatory law.
13. Indemnity
Teachers and institutions agree to compensate SarvPariksha and its operator for claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from content you publish, your breach of these terms or the law, or your infringement of someone's rights.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, the courts at Nagpur, India have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting formal proceedings, please email contact@sarvpariksha.in with the issue and what you want, and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. You can always approach a consumer commission or other authority that has jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for new features, legal requirements or changes to the service. We will post the new version with a new date and, for material changes, give at least 14 days' notice in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the update; if you do not agree, stop using it and delete your account. At least once a year we will remind you of these terms and the Privacy Policy.
16. General and contact
These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy are the whole agreement between you and us. If a part is invalid, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right now does not waive it later. You may not transfer your rights without our consent; we may transfer ours with the service. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. The English version prevails over any translation.
